  • Hotel Elysee: I Love New York!

I do love New York and want to visit every chance I get - there is so much to see and do on every trip. I had the chance to live there for a while, and I have to say, it's definitely easier to visit! Of course, finding the right and best place to stay is always a challenge. I know you have heard that room sizes are usually small and quite expensive and generally, that's true, unless you want to splurge for a junior suite or higher which only adds to the expense. However, I am always on the hunt for the best spaces for Baby Boomers and this time I think I hit the jackpot!

  • Farm Vacation in Wisconsin: Rainbow Ridge Farms

Are you tired of trying to talk to your friends, kids and grandkids only to find their faces buried in a smart phone? Well my friends, you are definitely not alone! Summer is here and it's time to unplug and connect to nature and each other. What better way to do it than to head to a wonderful farm up in Wisconsin and do yoga with the goats – yes, I said Goat Yoga – classes offered June 17 through August 19 – yoga mats and goats provided.

  • Las Vegas with A Twist: Red Rock Resort, Spa & Casino

As a Baby Boomer, you've probably made a few trips to Las Vegas over the years and may be looking for a new angle in the area. • La La Land: Hotel Amarano

Its Oscar week and what better way to celebrate it than talking about LA LA LAND – the movie and the place. Who hasn't dreamed of a Hollywood ending to their love story or dreamed of being a movie star? We Baby Boomers grew up with parents who were mesmerized by Hollywood legends and spent hours reading movie magazines and going to the movies. We in turn inherited that love and still enjoy spending a weekend with popcorn catching a great flick.

  • Hotel for Book Lovers: Portland, Oregon

It's always a good idea to read a book – do people even do that anymore? I think the Baby Boomers still do! If you fit that bill, then I have a great place for you to check out. It's the Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland, Oregon. Located a few blocks from the Riverfront, 2 blocks from the Max Light Rail Train and darn near all the great shops, restaurants and galleries that this city has to offer, this hotel has 150 rooms and something else that is quite unique – a library, and not just any library.
