  1. The Value of Using Tourism Cards in Europe

The Value of Using Tourism Cards in Europe

    $0.00

Berlin, Germany, 02/21/2017 - Online moving platform Movinga.com have produced a study, in cooperation with package holiday specialists TravelBird.nl , presenting the savings associated with tourist travel tickets within cities as opposed to purchasing tickets individually. Movinga carried out the research after releasing their 2017 Relocation Price Index which detailed, in part, local costs of public transportation. They then teamed up with TravelBird to expand on this study. Since most tourist passes contain all-inclusive public transport cards as well as discounts on museums and activities, the companies wanted to investigate the value of these convenience deals. TravelBird and Movinga hope the study will empower tourists to think critically about ticket options and will offer a method of calculating potential savings for popular vacation destinations.

Today I wish to focus on perhaps the most influential and important museum in the world for those art lovers!  A trip to the Kelvingrove should remain top on your list along with the British Museum & the Louvre (Paris).  To be honest, I had not realized the wealth of collections ranging from the Impressionists to the famed Glasgow Boys who revolutionized Scottish painting – similar to the Pre-Raphaelites from the United Kingdom.

To celebrate the 100th birthday of Tennessee’s Statehood, Nashville built the 1897 Centennial and International Exposition. Many states and major industries built exhibits for the celebration. A full-scale replica of the Parthenon was the centerpiece and is the only remaining building. It sits in what is Nashville’s premiere urban park. It makes for a great afternoon walk, picnic, and time for reflection on the big thinkers and dreamers that made the Parthenon possible.
