1.   Manali to Leh

Taking a road trip from Manali in Himachal Pradesh to Leh is really a dream for almost all adventure lovers in India. The beauty of this highway with those magnificent mountains on the background of clear azure sky can’t be captured in words! The total length of this highway is about 490 km. One can ride this highway on bike or drive to Leh by a car living the passion of driving. Bus service by state transport is also a good option. The only season this highway opens is June-September. One needs to properly plan for this trip as more than 350 km out of 490 km long Manali-Leh Highway does not have any civilization or even fuel stations. So be careful, plan well and get ready for the most memorable road trip in your life!

The total distance is approximately 590 km and the road goes through hills with tea gardens. Driving on this beautiful road with your beloved ones having your favourite music on in a car is certainly a dream come true! If you visit here in Monsoon, the spectacular scene of hills covered with clouds, pleasant weather and lush green colour of the surrounding will rejuvenate you. While travelling in Rajasthan, you will not only experience a journey through the ocean of sand but also witness one of the most colourful cultures in India. A road connecting pink city-golden city is around 558 km in length. Jodhpur comes along the same way and one can make a stopover there to enjoy the great Rajasthani heritage. Huge palaces that are master pieces of Rajasthani architecture can be seen in all these cities. During Monsoon, waterfalls sprout up at almost every step and Western Ghats become paradise! One can plan a road trip from Mumbai to Ganpati Pule in Maharashtra and have an experience of beautiful beaches, whispering coconut groves, lush green hills and valleys! The route traverses through deep forests some times and runs parallel to the sea shore at others! A trip from Kolkata to Puri in Odisha offers a beautiful green drive of about 498 km that ends at a pristine beach of Puri. The journey from the hustling city life of Kolkata to calm beaches of Puri is as pretty as the destination. The road is smooth and hence the drive becomes relaxing. If you leave Kolkata early in the morning, enjoying a lovely sunset at peaceful beach of Puri makes the drive of 12 hours more than worth!

This road of 381 km takes around 8 hours to complete and then one is exposed to the vast expanse of white salt desert that shines brightly in daylight. You have to take this trip to experience those enthralling moments!
