We are always on the hunt for new products that work well for our traveling readers, so when I heard about something that pilots and flight attendants are raving about, I knew I needed to check it out. Food is always a main item on the list when we take a trip. Whether we are camping, taking a road trip or getting on a plane to some exotic destination, food seems to be on the top of our minds.

Last year I was lucky to be asked to review a product by BackJoy called Sit Smart, which I use daily to this day – it keeps my posture straight when I sit in front of my computer, plus they gave back to a charity after my review. 5. Bowser Beer

Bowser Beer: Beer for Dogs – Pack it up for your Dog when you Travel

    $0.00

One of Susie’s many male admirers brought an interesting and unique product to our attention that she would like to share with her many friends – Bowser Beer. What a great idea! Of course this beer is non-alcoholic and does not contain any hops which are toxic to dogs. In other words, do not give your dog human beer; instead buy him/her a supply of Bowser Beer.

  6. Compression Socks with Flair and Function

Compression Socks with Flair and Function

    $0.00

I don't know about you but the older I get and have to go on long haul flights, I begin to wonder about health and deep vein thrombosis from sitting so many hours and being dehydrated from the dry air. I looked at compression socks and they were not very flattering.

  7. GoPure: Pure Drinking Water on the Go

GoPure: Pure Drinking Water on the Go

    $0.00

Here's a statistic that probably won't surprise you: 80% of travel related illnesses are caused by drinking contaminated water. We are told regularly that we need to drink at least eight glasses of water a day, so what do we do when we visit foreign countries? That's always been a dilemma until now. Enter the GoPure Pod, a tiny filter that comes with its own carrying case. The filter itself is only about 2 inches in length, so it will fit in your purse or carry on.  Just drop the pod into a portable water bottle, container, pitcher, glass or coffee maker and it purifies your water immediately.

  9. Ice Chips Candy: A Review

    Ice Chips Candy: A Review

    $0.00

I’m always on the lookout for things to take with me when I travel. There seems to be some sort of delay or unexpected incident that I’m not always prepared for like making my mouth fresher and cleaner after I eat something on the plane – usually something that I bring aboard since meal service has taken a nose dive on most flights. But I digress.

  13. Love My Tan!

    Love My Tan!

    $0.00

Hey Boomers! How many of you remember tanning in your backyard and slathering yourself with Crisco so you can achieve that golden glow for the summer? How bad was that? Yikes! Thank goodness we now know better, but we still look for ways to achieve that bronze glow. There are tanning beds (not so great), spray tans and store bought self tanners. I still enjoy getting outside for some of that vitamin D, but enhance it with a good self tanner. They have gotten better, but there is still that issue of the smell and a bit of orange color.

One of Susie’s cousins is an elderly boxer that has to be lifted into the back on her daddy’s SUV. The Solvit pet ramp makes it easier both on the dog and their human to take them in the vehicle.
