I have a question for you. What do sleep, the Ritz Paris and Olympic athletes have in common? Give up? Well, I found out and I really, really like it! It's the airweave Mattress, airweave Top Mattress and airweave Portable.
According to the National Institute on Aging, “Insomnia is the most common sleep problem in adults age 60 and older. People with this condition have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Insomnia can last for days, months and even years.” Now, let's add travel to that equation and we've all had issues with sleep – new surroundings, bad mattresses and oh those awful airline seats!
When I was approached to try the airweave Portable and told I could carry it on an airplane and it was designed for airline seats, I said, sign me up! It also has the Ritz Paris attached to it, so that was also attractive. Now I have to say, this will be be your only carry on, because it is large, but it does meet TSA standards. If you are flying overseas and don't have the budget for a first class seat, you can create your own with this product. It will change your comfort level and have you arriving in a better state of mind. Then, take it with you the hotel and your good sleep continues.
You don't have to just take it on an airplane, this works really well in campers, RVs or any road trips you have in mind. Imagine putting it in your sleeping bag. This product was founded in 2004 in Japan and designed to allow free air flow by synchronizing with your body.
It incorparates three dimensional fibers and is surprisingly lightweight. There are two sides – a dual mode – soft or firm. I personally prefer the soft, but you can try each side to see what works best for you. This has become a cult favorite in Japan and is used by Olympic athletes, ballet schools and now me!
This product is not inexpensive, but go to their website for details:
